Roughly 300,000 domains are newly registered every day — we screen each day's registrations for AI tools. And because many domains only receive real content after launch, every day's cohort is re-checked 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks later, so late-arriving AI tools still enter the list the week they go live.
Domains already in the database are re-checked daily as well — categorization correctness, changes to Terms of Service and privacy policies (which drive the risk categories), and whether the domain still resolves. Dead domains are removed automatically, so your filters block exactly what's live and nothing that isn't.

You can cancel any time; API access and hosted feeds stop at the end of the paid period, and the data license ends with the subscription — retained copies must be deleted under the license terms. The Essentials lookup plan never hands over the list at all — you query it, so there is nothing to retain. For the plans that do include the deployable list, a kept copy loses its value quickly anyway: new AI tools appear every day and domains go dead, so a static list is materially out of date within weeks. That is why the downloadable bulk exports (CSV/JSON) are an annual-license feature.
A hosted endpoint is a stable, personal URL serving the current blocklist in your filter’s native format — hosts file, External Dynamic List (Palo Alto, Fortinet et al.) or PAC. You configure it once and your firewall or proxy pulls updates automatically; there is nothing to download, re-import or keep in sync. Most customers never need a raw file at all.
Essentials at $99/month is our lookup API: you send us a domain, we tell you instantly whether it’s a known AI tool and which of the 18 categories it falls in — checked against the complete database, not a subset, and always current. You get 10,000,000 lookups a month and there is nothing to host, import or refresh. It suits teams that want to enrich or verify domains (SOC, DLP, analytics, or a filter that can query a URL) rather than load a static list. Any firewall or filter that can poll a plain-text domain list over HTTPS works with our hosted endpoints. That includes Palo Alto (External Dynamic Lists), Fortinet FortiGate (External Connectors / threat feeds), SonicWall (Dynamic External Address Groups on SonicOS 7.x, Dynamic Botnet List on older firmware), Check Point (Custom Intelligence Feeds), Cisco Secure Firewall / Firepower (custom Security Intelligence feeds), Sophos Firewall (external threat feeds), Juniper SRX (SecIntel custom feeds), and pfSense / OPNsense (pfBlockerNG or URL-table aliases). At the DNS layer: DNSFilter (pre-chunked import bundle), Pi-hole, AdGuard Home, BIND RPZ, Unbound, and dnsmasq via the hosts format, plus any resolver that accepts custom block lists (NextDNS, Cisco Umbrella). Proxies use the PAC file or the raw domain list for custom URL categories (Squid, Zscaler, Netskope).
